Have your say on how family hubs could support children and families in your community

Online questionnaire available until the 23rd March

The council is changing the way that children’s centre provide support to families which involves the age range being extended from 0 – 8 to 0 – 19 years (or 25 for young people with special educational needs and disabilities). The plan is for this to link to a family hub model which would also involve more services and community groups to offer a wider range of support. Have you say on what services and support you would like to see available and what is important to you about how and where family hubs work by completing this anonymous questionnaire by 23rd March. If you would like this questionnaire in any other format or language please email:  childrenscommissioningsecure-mailbox@devon.gov.uk

ChatHealth Logo

Devon County Council runs a confidential secure text messaging service for parents of children aged 0-19 years called ChatHealth. The service operates Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, excluding bank holidays. All texts will be responded to by a public health nurse (health visitor/school nurse) within 24 hours. Outside of the service working hours, you’ll receive a message back to inform you that your text will be responded to once the line reopens. You can also call our Public Health Nursing hubs on the numbers listed below.

If you are concerned about the safety of a child in Devon, contact our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on 0345 155 1071 or email mashsecure@devon.gov.uk with as much information as possible.
