Everyday Tiny Moments ONLINE Workshop for Parents & Carers

Online

We’re inviting you to join us at this small, informal, friendly “Everyday Tiny Moments” ONLINE workshop for parents and carers of children aged 0-4 years old.

What’s is about?

‘Everyday Tiny Moments’ encourages us to notice and celebrate the normal interactions between a child and their special adult (YOU!) Not only do these interactions help them to learn to build relationships and develop communication skills, but they also help to build their mental and emotional wellbeing. It’s those everyday tiny moments that have a huge impact on their development.

At the workshop…

  • You’ll learn how to notice the everyday tiny moments between you and your child and how special they are
  • We’ll also help you to understand and celebrate the power of normality
  • We’ll help you to understand how to focus on the positives
  • We’ll give you tips on good parental and infant wellbeing.

So, please join us and celebrate the power of normality and how to focus on the positives which are happening naturally and take the pressure off ourselves!

The ONLINE workshop will take place via Microsoft Teams.

To reserve a spot at this free workshop, please visit the Everyday Tiny Moments – Parent Carer Online Workshop event page on Eventbrite

Devon County Council runs a confidential secure text messaging service for parents of children aged 0-19 years called ChatHealth. The service operates Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, excluding bank holidays. All texts will be responded to by a public health nurse (health visitor/school nurse) within 24 hours. Outside of the service working hours, you’ll receive a message back to inform you that your text will be responded to once the line reopens. You can also call our Public Health Nursing hubs on the numbers listed below.

If you are concerned about the safety of a child in Devon, contact our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on 0345 155 1071 or email mashsecure@devon.gov.uk with as much information as possible.
