Healthy Futures Team (HFT)

We are a Team of Health Visitors and Community Nursery Nurses with an Administrator working with young parents, refugees, asylum seekers, travellers, the Emergency Housed and families facing disadvantage in Brighton & Hove. We are a city-wide service across Brighton & Hove and offer the following:

  • An intensive Healthy Child Programme service, delivering the five core health visiting contacts and progressive intensive support and interventions with families
  • Early assessment and intervention promoting positive parenting and reducing the impact of disadvantage on families

We plan our visits around your needs and will agree an individualised plan of care and support with you. Referral to our service is usually through midwifery, social care or Brighton & Hove City Council, but we can be contacted via B&H Health Visitor Contact Point if you would feel you would benefit from our service (criteria apply). If you would like more information you can contact us at
