Sleep Advice and the Importance of Supporting Carers with their Babies Sleep Virtual Session

Virtual via Teams

On Tuesday, 19 July, 2022, a free virtual session on sleep advice and the importance of supporting carers with their babies sleep is being offered by Action for Children.

This session is offered as part of their 0-2 Community Development program and is funded by Devon County Council.

The session will be delivered virtually via Teams and will use discussion, videos and breakout rooms to support learning. They will share learning from Children’s Centre staff, signpost you to resources, and use the latest evidence-based materials that have been produced for parents, carers and community members. The session aims to add to your knowledge base and create a space where everyone can share information and take away new ideas. As part of this training, you will also have access to resources via the Action for Children learning platform.

The session is free of charge to attend, but you will need to register are via Eventbrite: Book your ticket here or by emailing the Community Action team.

Devon County Council runs a confidential secure text messaging service for parents of children aged 0-19 years called ChatHealth. The service operates Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, excluding bank holidays. All texts will be responded to by a public health nurse (health visitor/school nurse) within 24 hours. Outside of the service working hours, you’ll receive a message back to inform you that your text will be responded to once the line reopens.
