As your baby grows, they will be learning new things and amazing you every day. This ‘Baby’s Next Steps’ video explores some of the changes and developments you can look forward to in the coming months.

In the video, you can get advice and information about starting your baby on solid foods and what makes a good diet, including vitamins and portion control, as well as the importance of good oral health, how to support your baby’s development and recommendations for keeping the home a safe place for your little one to explore.

Remember, it’s a good idea to wait until your child is six months old before starting solid foods. Click here to find out more about introducing solid foods.

You can also find out about the continued importance of play and stimulation, along with the changes you can expect to experience in your baby’s sleep pattern in the coming months.

You can access subtitles by clicking the ‘CC’ button on the video player.
