Help with Childcare Costs

Early Education & Childcare Entitlements for 2, 3 & 4 Year Olds

• Childcare Funding for 2 Year Olds: Parents may be able to claim up to 15 hours per week over 38 weeks for their 2 year old from the term after their second birthday, if they meet the government eligibility criteria.
• Childcare Funding for 3 & 4 Year Olds: All children are entitled to the universal 15 hours per week over 38 weeks of early education from the term after their third birthday.  Parents may also be able to claim an additional 15 hours per week over 38 weeks if they are working.
