Family Hubs help families in Devon, with children up to 19 (25 with SEN and/or care experienced), to build strong, healthy, and happy lives by enabling access to a network of community-centred support or services to promote emotional, social, physical, and financial well-being. Together we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive approach for all families in Devon, ensuring they have access to the resources and help they need, when they need it, to enable them to thrive.

Devon County Council runs a confidential secure text messaging service for parents of children aged 0-19 years called ChatHealth. The service operates Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, excluding bank holidays. All texts will be responded to by a public health nurse (health visitor/school nurse) within 24 hours. Outside of the service working hours, you’ll receive a message back to inform you that your text will be responded to once the line reopens.
