Be proud of your mouth!

It is important to look after your child’s mouth and your own.

Looking after your child’s oral health is as easy as 1, 2, 3

1. Provide a healthy balanced diet. Limit sugary food and drinks to mealtimes only.
2. Brush their teeth twice a day with family fluoride toothpaste. Spit out, do not rinse mouth out with water.
3. Visit a dentist regularly to maintain a healthy mouth.

Useful resources

You can download a toothbrushing chart, to motivate toothbrushing twice a day.

See here for further details of World Oral Health Day.

For further oral health advice visit the Nottingham Oral Health website.
