Toilet training can be a challenging developmental stage, this video guide from ERIC will support you through the process of toilet training your child.
It is better for your child’s bladder and bowel health to stop using nappies between 18 and 30 months old (between 1 and a half to two and a half years).
Most children are ready to start learning some of the potty training skills from 18 months old. You do not need to wait for signs of readiness to start teaching your child potty training skills.
This video covers the three step approach to learning potty training skills. Starting with preparation to use the potty, then practicing these skills before eventually stopping the use of nappies as your child gains confidence.
