Text a Health Visitor

Did you know you can get advice and support from a member of the Health Visiting team by text?

Do you need some advice about your baby’s or child’s health or development? You might have questions about their growth, development, behaviour, sleep or feeding. You can text a member of our Health Visiting team on 07520 634909 and get advice and support on these and a range of other health and development issues. You can send a text at anytime, and we will reply between 9am and 4.30pm on weekdays (excluding bank holidays). A member of the team can offer advice, sign post you to other services or when appropriate arrange for you to see a member of the team.

ChatHealth Logo

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust runs a confidential secure text messaging service for parents of children aged 0-5 years called ChatHealth. The service operates Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm, excluding bank holidays. All texts will be responded to by a health visitor within 24 hours. Outside of the service working hours, you’ll receive a message back to inform you that your text will be responded to once the service reopens.

Should you require urgent health advice in the meantime, please contact your GP, visit an NHS walk-in centre or call NHS 111. For emergencies, dial 999 or visit A&E.
