Early Help

Early Help is a support service to help children, young people, and their families as early as possible. Early Help offers to help families deal with challenges before they become more serious. It is about making sure the right support is available at the right time. Professionals such as teachers, health visitors, or midwives can often give this support.

If you think your family may benefit from early help, you can ask any professional you feel comfortable with to fill out an early help assessment with you. This assessment gathers and shares information about what is working well for your family and identifies areas where you might need more support.
