Help improve information on substance and alcohol use in pregnancy

Local partners are working together to improve health and reduce health inequalities under the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire LMNS Equity Strategy.

They are looking to better understand where people go for information when they are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

A survey has been created to find out where people who might become pregnant one day (planned or unplanned), and people who are planning a baby or are currently pregnant, go when they are seeking information about pregnancy.

This survey has been agreed by the Substance Use and Alcohol Task and Finish Group for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire that reports to the ICB Perinatal Health Inequalities meeting and the work forms part of the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) equity strategy 2025-2028 for Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County.

They have developed a survey to find out:

  • Where people access information and support during pregnancy
  • What people know about the harms of substance use in pregnancy
  • What information is currently available and how accessible it is

About the survey:

  • Online and anonymous
  • Takes about 5 minutes
  • Open from 11th June 2026 to 14th August 2026 (5pm)

Your support will help improve information and make it more accessible for local families.

The survey can be accessed via this weblink.
