Family Information Service

The Family Information Service have a wealth of information and advice on choosing childcare (including accessing 2, 3 and 4-year-old funding), finding activities for your children and helping you to access any local support you may need.

A Family Hub is a place where children, young people and their families can go when in need of help and support.  Raising a family, being a parent or carer, or navigating life as a young person can be a challenge so Family Hubs is making sure that there is support and help for you across Solihull.  The people working in the Family Hub will work in partnership with you and your community. They will help you find and get help from different services in the area and will be able to give you information, advice and support.  On these pages Family Hubs (solihull.gov.uk), dedicated to Family Hubs, you will find information, advice, and guidance about many of the different groups and networks who are ready to offer a helping hand or advice to support you at every stage of your family journey.

ChatHealth Logo

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust runs a confidential secure text messaging service for parents of children aged 0-5 years called ChatHealth. The service operates Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm, excluding bank holidays. All texts will be responded to by a health visitor within 24 hours. Outside of the service working hours, you’ll receive a message back to inform you that your text will be responded to once the service reopens.

Should you require urgent health advice in the meantime, please contact your GP, visit an NHS walk-in centre or call NHS 111. For emergencies, dial 999 or visit A&E.
