Once your child starts school, the school nurses will take over the care of your child from your health visitor. The school nurses are responsible for looking after the health of your children whilst they are in school, from 5-19 years of age.
When your child is in reception year, your child will be offered a growth measurement as part of the National Child Measurement Programme.
Your child will be offered a nasal flu vaccination.
